Night at the OsKars
We are delighted to announce that we are hosting a ‘Night at the OsKars’ fundraiser on Saturday 10th November in the Tullamore Court Hotel. This will involve up to 60 local actors and actresses taking part in seven well known short films which will all be filmed locally prior to the event and will then be shown on the night where the OsKar winners will be decided. Thanks to the fine crowd who turned up to our information evening on the event last Thursday evening in the Clubhouse. For those who couldn’t get to the event for whatever reason, please note that the casting evening will take place on Tuesday 11th September, we would love to have you all along. After casts are decided, there will be four 30minute rehearsals and these will take place on Tuesday evenings 25th September and the 2nd, 9th & 16th October with the filming taking place on the weekends of the 20th & 27th October. Those present at Thursday’s information night were treated to samples of films made by other clubs and all agreed that it will be a most enjoyable event to be involved in, and a fantastic fundraiser for the club.
