All Ireland Poc Fada Champion
Congratulations to Cathal Kiely who won the All-Ireland U16 Poc Fada final for the second year in a row in the Cooley Mountains in Co. Louth on Saturday. Cathal emulates his brother Cillian who also won back-to-back titles in 2011 and 2012. A fantastic achievement, well done.

Junior Hurling
The very best of luck to our Junior B hurling panel and management as they face Brosna Gaels in the Championship Final on Saturday evening in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park, Tullamore at 5.30pm.

Minor Hurling
Hard luck to our Minor hurlers who lost out to Ballinamere/Durrow on Wednesday last in Ballinamere. A strong finish to the 1st half from Ballinamere/Durrow saw them lead by 2-9 to 0-7 at the break. A long ball in from Lochlann Kavanagh was deflected into the net on the 40th minute to leave it 2-12 to 1-10 but that was to be the last score of the game for K/K as Ballinamere/Durrow finished off with 1-3 for a 3-15 to 1-10 victory. Team & Scorers: Dan Gleeson, Eoin Kilmartin, Shane Mulrooney, Rory Gleeson, Joe Daly, Conor Quinn (0-3, 1f), Cathal Kilmartin, Cathal Donoghue, Bryan Mullen (0-2, 1s/c), Kevin Daly, Niall Egan, Ciaran Moore (0-1), Lochlann Kavanagh (1-4, 0-3f), Eoin Gleeson, Eamon Bracken.
