Lotto Results

Senior Hurling
Well done to our Senior hurlers who recorded their fourth win of the group defeating Lusmagh by 1-19 to 1-15 on Sunday morning in Rath.

Junior Hurling
Congratulations to our Junior B hurlers who have qualified for the county final against Brosna Gaels after an excellent 1-13 to 0-6 victory over Clodiagh Gaels on Saturday evening in Rath. Our Junior A hurlers received a walkover from Shamrocks for their game.

Intermediate Hurling
Our intermediate hurlers received a walkover from Clodiagh Gaels for the championship game which was scheduled for the weekend.

Minor Hurling
Well done to our Minor hurlers who defeated Na Fianna in the championship on Wednesday last in Killeigh. The minimum was the difference between the sides after 15 minutes with K/K 0-4 to 0-3 ahead but they outscored Na Fianna by 0-4 to 0-1 for the next quarter, Conor Lowry 0-3 and Niall Egan with the other, to lead by 0-8 to 0-4 at the break. A very strong start to the second half ensured victory for K/K with Lochlann Kavanagh getting K/K’s first goal in the 37th minute and points from Niall Egan, Cathal Kiely, Conor Lowry and Bryan Mullen leaving K/K 1-15 to 0-4 up after 45 minutes. Further points followed from Bryan Mullen (3) and Lochlann Kavanagh (2) before Philip Cooney struck K/K’s second goal late on as K/K ran out 2-20 to 1-6 winners. U14 Football
Hard luck to our U14 footballers who lost out to Ballinamere/Durrow by 4-17 to 2-5 in Durrow on Wednesday night.

All Ireland Poc Fada
Best of luck to Cathal Kiely who represents club, county and province in the All-Ireland U16 Poc Fada final in the Cooley Mountains in Co. Louth this Saturday 5th August.
