U14 & U16 Hurling
Well done to our U14 hurlers who defeated CRC Gaels in Kilcormac on Wednesday last. K/K led by 3-6 to 1-2 at the break but a great fightback from CRC Gaels had the gap down to the minimum 3-7 to 3-6 before K/K got their fourth goal in the last minute of normal time for a 4-7 to 3-6 victory. Team: Brecon Kavanagh, Oisin Kilmartin, Jack Scully, Eoin Leonard, Robert Boland, Charlie Mitchell, Daniel Hand, Colin Spain, Charlie Bracken, Enda Leonard, James Bracken, Leigh Kavanagh, Alex Kavanagh, Daniel Coughlan, Adam Screeney. Subs used: Ryan Hannon (for A. Screeney), Ter Guinan (for L. Kavanagh).
Well done to our U16 hurlers who got their fifth win of the championship on Friday evening defeating Ferbane/Belmont by 3-14 to 2-11 in Moystown and also received a walkover from St Rynagh’s for the game which was due to be played on Monday.

Hard luck to our U16 footballers who lost out to St Vincent’s by 4-12 to 2-9 in Ballycommon on Monday night. Well done to our Minor footballers who played out a 1-7 apiece draw with St Rynagh’s on Wednesday in Mountbolus.
