Feile na nGael
Well done to the Kilcormac/Killoughey Camogie girls who got all the way to the final at the Feile na nGael in Wexford at the weekend. After winning two of their three group games, the girls topped their group to set up a quarter final with Mooncoin. After a nervous finish, the girls came through by 1-5 to 1-4 after extra time. They went on to defeat Raharney in the Semi Final to set up a final with Dicksboro. Unfortunately the girls were on the losing side of a close game 1-5 to 0-5. They played brilliantly all weekend and the parish is very proud of them.

Offaly Poc Fada
Best of luck to Cathal Kiely and Jane Lowry who will be representing Offaly at the Leinster Poc Fada final this Saturday in Beann Eadair GAA Club, Howth.

Offaly GAA
Hard luck to Enda, Peter and all the Offaly senior hurlers and management on their defeat to Galway in the Leinster Semi Final on Sunday in O’Moore Park, Portlaoise. Hard luck also to the Offaly senior footballers and management on their defeat to Westmeath on Saturday in Cusack Park, Mullingar and to the U17 hurlers who lost out to Antrim in the Celtic Challenge Division 2 Semi Final in Abbottstown on Saturday. Best of luck to the Senior footballers who play Cavan in the qualifiers on Sunday in O’Connor Park, Tullamore.

Congratulations to Brian Whelahan who was deservedly inducted in the Leinster GAA Hall of Fame in Portlaoise on Sunday.
